This is a beta version of software, it has not been fully tested yet.

Added menu item "Send to RVM | Printer tickets... | Store images in Hecon/Swecoin printer...". This lets you store one or more images directly into the printer's memory. This allows for more coupons to be stored into the RVM's memory and for more images to be included on a single voucher/coupon.  When you select this option you will be prompted for a .PIL filename containing the list of images, such as test.pil:
    Dr Pepper.bmp,3
    diet coke.bmp,1
    test image.bmp,6
The file format is:
    filename,image number

The filename may be any length and may contain spaces. The valid range of images numbers is 1-15 for Swecoin printers, 1-255 for Hecon printers.
After selecting the filename, a command is sent to the RVM to force a voucher payout.
To print an image stored in the printer, use the "Insert | Stored printer image (Hecon/Swecoin only)" when creating coupons/vouchers in Coupon Designer 1.3.5 or later for Hecon printers, 1.4.1 or later for Swecoin printers. This lets you insert a command into the printer voucher/coupon such as "print image number 3" at the specified position.

Notes:
Images must be in BMP format. The maximum size of an image is 32000 bytes. This supports a maximum image size of 992x255 for Swecoin printers or 448x570 for Hecon (if width is less than 448 the height can be made taller).
If size of the image size is too large the RVM will send error 142 "file too large to fit in RVM".
The width of each image must be evenly divisible by 32.
The total storage capacity of the Hecon is 128KB. The Swecoin capacity depends on the size of the printer firmware and how many fonts are loaded into the printer, but the average is around 99K bytes (to determine the exact size print a test ticket by holding the feed button while loading paper - look under "Installed Logotypes").
This version does not support error detection, so if the printer memory becomes full, no error is reported.
Requires RVM software versions 3/3/08 or later that supports either Swecoin or Hecon printers, but doesn't have to support coupons.
The Cybertech graphics printer does not offer this capability.
When sending the images to the printer WinRVM will log many messages such as "send to RVM: Stored printer image (c:\cf1500\image packet.tmp)", this is normal. Once message will be sent for every 255 characters of the images.


When loading coupons to the RVM, now support storing images in the Hecon/Swecoin printer by including an optional "StoreImagesInPrinter=filename.pil" line in the coupon list file. Sample test.cls:
    swecoin1.cpn,100
    swecoin2.cpn,90
    StoreImagesInPrinter=test.pil
After the two coupons (swecoin1.cpn and swecoin2.cpn) are sent to the RVM, the images listed in test.pil are then stored directly in the printer.
Requires RVM software versions 3/3/08 or later that supports either Swecoin or Hecon printers and coupons.

Added Swecoin printer option to the "Payment Type" field in menu item "Advanced | RVM configuration list".
Requires the new file swecoin.opt (contained in WinRVMExtras.zip and the RVM data files) to be placed in the cf1500 folder.


When "Create Greek status report file" was enabled in the Host Options and the RVM sent a warning, previously the "status" line in rvmstatus.txt would indicate "IN" service such as:

Note: for any subsequent RVM status file, the "status" line in rvmstatus.txt will continue to indicate the previous warning for warnings 210-213 only (cleared when receiving a "W490/457: RVM returned to service" or an error or different warning occurs):
    210 Too long in "Remove container" mode
    211 Too long in "Cabinet door open" mode
    212 Too long in "Take your ticket" mode
    213 Too long in Service mode


Installation Notes:
If setting up WinRVM on a PC for the first time, follow the installation instructions first!

To upgrade from an older version of WinRVM, you have several choices:

a) The easy way. Run WinRVM and select "Host | Check for WinRVM program update" and choose "yes" to install the new version. This will also download the latest WinRVM documentation to your PC. After the update is complete, click "Help | About" to verify the correct version of WinRVM was loaded.
Note: if WinRVM says you must perform a full install, follow choice b. This version will not be available this way until beta testing is complete.

b)

  1. Uninstall your old version of WinRVM via "start | control panel | add or remove programs". 
    Your old WinRVM program settings/options will be maintained. This step isn't mandatory, but will prevent numerous copies of WinRVM from displaying in the add/remove app.

  2. Exit all running programs.

  3. Download the self-extracting setup program: WinRVM186Setup.exe (4.2 MB).
    If you want to install WinRVM on a different PC and the only method you have to get the program there is via floppy disk:
    Run WinZip and open the Setup program ( .exe file). Unzip all the files (setup.exe, setup.lst, winrvm1.cab, winrvm2.cab, winrvm3.cab) to multiple floppy disks. Copy all files to the other PC. In step 4 run setup.exe on the other PC.

  4. Run the exe file downloaded in step 3.
    Note: for Win 2000 or Win XP you may need to log in as administrator to run the setup program, otherwise you may receive errors such as "unable to register file".
    The installation program may ask you to reboot your PC and rerun the setup program. 
    If the setup program displays "Setup cannot continue because some system files are out of date on your system" after rebooting and running setup a second time, click here.
    If the setup program displays "A file being copied is not newer than the file currently on your system. It is recommended that you keep your existing file. Do you want to keep this file?", answer "Yes".

  5. You may delete the setup program downloaded in step 3 if desired.

  6. If you didn't previously download prompt.zip from WinRVM 1.36, download it, unzip, and copy prompt.ini to \cf1500.

c) Manual installation. Copy WinRVM.exe (inside WinRVM186.zip) to c:\program files\WinRVM.
