5/21/20: Released beta software: CF1500 (US printer) to add touchless printing via new AUTOPAY_TIME parameter.

2/24/20: Released beta software: WinRVM 4.1.1:
You can optionally configure WinRVM to prompt for a password when clicking any actionable item.

2/18/20: Released beta software: CouponDesigner ver 2.0.7.

2/3/20: Released beta software: Pocket WinRVM 2.0.3:
Fixed bug with ePortal reporting (if "Support ePortal" was enabled in the Host Options): if the RVM wasn't communicating at the time of the midnight ePortal report, the daily can/glass/PET counts could be negative or set to the total number of containers ever accepted for that commodity.

1/15/20: Released beta software: WinRVM 4.1.0:
Fixed bug with ePortal reporting (if "Support ePortal" was enabled in the Host Options): if the RVM wasn't communicating at the time of the midnight ePortal report, the daily can/glass/PET counts could be negative or set to the total number of containers ever accepted for that commodity.

========== 2020 ==========

11/15/19: Released LastCall 2.2.4:
The "N missing", "N unrecognized", "N unknown zip files" buttons now show a sorted list of sites.

When refreshing and getting the number of RVMs at each site, if the database connection is down, display only one error message instead of showing a pop-up error for every site.

The "last call time" column now indicates the actual time (Eastern time zone) a file was received from each site. Previously, this field indicated the RVM's local date/time the last sent file was created on the RVM/WinRVM/Pocket PC.
This is read from W:\ServerUsedBySite.csv which is written by the FTP Bridge program when a file is received.
This change fixes the following problem: when CF1500 ePortal sites send just ePortal files, the zip file isn't saved by FTP Bridge; the last call time was wrong, it indicated the last time the site sent in a Q file.

Notes:
When you double-click a site to show all the times a site called in, this will present a list of times based on the file names, which is the local time the file was created on the RVM, which is identical to before. The time of the most recent entry at the bottom of the list will no longer exactly match the "last call time" indicated on the main screen. For example, if a site created the zip file at 03:30am, it may take 5 minutes for a dialup connection to be established and the file transfer to complete, so the "last call time" may indicate something like 03:35am, but when you double-click the site, the last entry in the list will indicate 03:30am.

The time difference will be more dramatic if the time in the RVM is wrong or if the RVM is in a different time zone than Eastern.

For ePortal sites, the "last call time" may indicate it called in recently but when you double-click the site to show the call times, the last of these call times will indicate the last time it sent a Q file. This is because zip files containing just ePortal files are not saved.

11/7/19: Released beta software: WinRVM 4.0.9:
On startup, show an error message and exit if WinRVM isn't running from the normal "\Program Files\WinRVM" or "\Program Files (x86)\WinRVM" location.

11/4/19:  Released FTP Bridge 1.1.8:
Keep zip files containing ePortal files if there are any other type of files in the zip file, not just Q files.
Previously, if we sent a command file to a site to retrieve WinRVM log files, the zip file would be deleted since no Q files were in the zip file.
When writing W:\ServerUsedBySite.csv, now save the time each site last called in to the file such as:
292432,S,2019-11-04 09:47:02

10/14/19: Released FTP Bridge 1.1.7:
If the CF1500 zip file contains ePortal files and no Q files, don't bother saving the zip file to the archive folder on the network.

9/11/19

8/28/19: Released beta software: WinRVM 4.0.8:
Menu item "Host | Send RVM downloads to host" now also sends U48/Flex/360 Q files such as Q123456.dqf.

8/21/19: Released FTP Bridge 1.1.6:
If a 360 RVM sends shape images because a barcode had no shape info assigned, the shape image folders are saved to w:\Shapes.

Details:
The RVM sends a zip file such as 111111_07-11-19_111111_U.ZIP containing one or more subfolders with names starting with "SeriesB" such as:
SeriesB-020-359592-Bc04976400
SeriesB-024-361574-Bc049000050110

each "SeriesB" subfolder will contain images files and a Description.txt such as:
C024-361587.pgm
C024-361574.pgm
C024-361573-back.pgm
Description.txt

The unzipped "SeriesB" subfolders are copied to w:\Shapes, but the folder name will be changed from something like:
SeriesB-024-361574-Bc049000050110
to
Bc049000050110-064311-2019-07-25_110212
where 049000050110 is the barcode, 064311 is the RVM serial number, and "2019-07-25_110212" is the time the images were saved by the RVM. This info is read from Description.txt.

The original zip file sent by the RVM will not be copied to the normal bridge archive folder (w:\), as these files can be large, and the unzipped data is already saved in w:\Shapes.
Note: it is assumed when the RVM sends shape images, the zip file will only contain shape info, no Q files or other data that needs to be processed.

Changed the message displayed when Q files are missing from a tech site to indicate the missing RVM serial numbers.
Old message:
Expected 4 Q files but only got 2 for tech site 770840_08-15-19_114632.zip (site ID 293295, inside 770840_08-15-19_114632.zip

New message:
Missing 2 Q files (034266, 054282) for tech site 770840_08-15-19_114632.zip (site ID 264801, inside 770840_08-15-19_114632.zip)

7/17/19:  Released FTP Bridge 1.1.5:
Tech files (77*.zip) are no longer copied to the archive folder W:\, they are copied to W:\77Backup instead.
Additionally, tech files are unzipped and re-zipped into separate zip files based on the site in which they came from and these zip files are copied to the W:\77Sites folder.
They are also copied to the W:\TechSearchFiles folder to allow LastCall the ability to search for technician Q files. Do not delete files from W:\TechSearchFiles, LastCall will automatically purge old files from this folder.
You may delete files in W:\77Sites after processing, LastCall will automatically purge old files from this folder.
The Q files from the incoming tech files are copied to K:\DOWNLOADS\CURRENTMONTH for edas processing. This folder can be changed by the new "Unzip 77sites to" setting in the Options.
Note: if an existing Q file in the destination folder (
K:\DOWNLOADS\CURRENTMONTH ) is newer than the incoming Q file, the file won't be copied.
When a Q file is copied to this folder, LastCall is informed.
Any errors detected while processing the tech files are also logged to W:\FTPBridgeErrorLog.txt so that LastCall can notify the user, such as:

Expected 3 Q files but only got 1 for tech site silva_05-10-19_090459.ZIP (site ID 219801, inside 771355_05-10-19_144418.ZIP)
Couldn't find site ID for RVM 050000 in mb52_05-01-19_132123.ZIP inside 771355_05-10-19_144418.ZIP!
Couldn't determine number of RVMs at site 212018 for tech site 770899_06-25-19_102427.zip inside 770899_06-25-19_102459.ZIP

All folders used by the program are created on startup if not found.

Don't send a "No connection to FTP server" email if the server is disabled in the options.

The tech prefix "77" is no longer hard-coded, it's now read from the registry and defaults to "77" in case we want to change this in the future.

Released LastCall 2.2.3:

Removed the "Tech" check box as these sites are no longer copied to W:\ (the [TECH] section in sites.txt should be removed).
Removed the "Reimagine" check box as these sites are obsolete.

Eliminated the alert displayed when tech files (77*.zip) arrive in W:\ as the FTP Bridge program no longer copies tech files there.
Added "Alert me when Q files from a tech file have been processed" checkbox to the options which defaults to disabled.
When enabled, a red button named "Tech Q files received" will be shown when the FTP Bridge program has copied new Q files to K:\DOWNLOADS\CURRENTMONTH.
LastCall checks for newly copied Q files once per minute.
When clicked, the button will disappear and a window will display:
"New technician Q files copied to K:\DOWNLOADS\CURRENTMONTH".

Added new "New bridge error(s)" button that is shown when the FTP Bridge program encounters errors while handling tech files (77*.zip).
The button will be red until you click it to view the log (W:\FTPBridgeErrorLog.txt, see above for examples), then the button changes to a normally colored button and the button caption will read "Bridge error(s)".
If the FTP Bridge program logs new errors, the button will again change to red. This check is performed once per minute.
To clear all the errors delete W:\FTPBridgeErrorLog.txt.

The "Number of RVMs" per site is now directly queried from the edas database. If the site ID isn't found in the database then the "Number of RVMs" field in sites.txt will be used instead.

Q file search feature changes:
The search results now include technician-sent Q files (77*.zip) which are saved in W:\TechSearchFiles by the FTP Bridge program.
We can't simply use W:\77Sites, as the DAS dept will be archiving these files on a monthly basis after processing.
Added "Open Q file" and "Open zip file" buttons.
Removed the "close" button.

The file purge routine now also applies to zip files in W:\77Backup, W:\77Sites, W:\TechSearchFiles.

Use new Envipco logo.

7/10/19: Released beta software: WinRVM 4.0.7.

6/12/19: Released beta software: CouponDesigner ver 2.0.6.

5/3/19: Released FTP Bridge 1.1.4: Tech files (77*.zip) are also copied to the new W:\77Backup folder.

3/27/19: Updated CF1500.zip to include updated printer.opt, hecon.opt, heconx56.opt to eliminate “Parameter [x] not recognized by RVM” messages when switching printer types.

========== 2019 ==========

11/30/18: Released FTP Bridge 1.1.3: When loading ServerUsedBySite.csv on startup, discard invalid site IDs (not 6 numeric digits), and remove any duplicate sites.
When a site calls in, don't update ServerUsedBySite.csv if the site ID is invalid.

11/27/18: Released software: CF1500 (US printer), CF1500 RVM for Greece:
To hopefully prevent fraud from users reaching up the reject chute and removing the container from the bail just before acceptance, perform a reject cycle if the bail is unexpectedly moved from the center position while a container is being inserted, or if the bail is moving to the left during the accept cycle. For safety reasons, the compactor(s) are shut off as well.
For safety, when the machine is idle, waiting for a container to be inserted and a compactor is on, turn off the compactors if the bail isn't centered.

10/17/18: Released software: Site Zip Copier 2.0.6: Fixed bug: the "Load list" button didn't work.

10/10/18:  Released LastCall 2.2.2: Fixed slow opening zip files on the W: drive when run on certain PCs

9/11/18

7/23/18: Released VoucherMaker 1.0.5: When making a Hecon voucher, use a smaller font for the optional store address (requires new master voucher files). Pressing enter after entering the filename causes the voucher file to be created. Reduced vertical size of main window to fit on small netbook PC displays.

5/3/18: Released beta software: Pocket WinRVM 2.0.2: Fixed major bug introduced in ver 2.0.1: when writing a Q file for a multi-commodity RVM, only one data set would be written to the file. For example, in a can/PET RVM, only the can barcodes would be written.

1/10/18: Released beta software: Site Zip Copier 2.0.5:
Fixed bug: when uploading a file that has a lowercase "zip" extension and this file already exists on the server with a lowercase "zip" extension, a bogus error message was displayed after uploading the file "file [name] not found on server (you'll need to resend this file)!".
When showing the "file [name] not found on server (you'll need to resend this file)!" message, indicate the server name.

1/9/18: Released beta software: Site Zip Copier 2.0.4:
Fixed bug: if the source file had a lowercase "zip" extension, a bogus error message was displayed after uploading the file "file [name] not found on server (you'll need to resend this file)!".

========== 2018 ==========

11/27/17: Released RVM Status ver 1.1.7: Support calling a site when launched from ePortal.

11/20/17: Released beta software: WinRVM 4.0.6: Added CF1500 ePortal support.
Released beta software: Pocket WinRVM 2.0.1: Added CF1500 ePortal support.

10/24/17: Released beta software: WinRVM 4.0.5:
Fixed bug introduced in WinRVM 4.0.4 related to sending files to an SFTP server. The file arrived on the SFTP server as a temporary file (such as temp_401683_temp), but was never renamed to the proper name such as 401683_10-24-17_100828.ZIP.
Fixed bug: if remotely received a command file to change the barcode file naming convention, the setting didn't take effect until after WinRVM restarted or Options were entered and OK clicked.

10/18/17:  Released LastCall 2.2.1:
Added support for SFTP servers (requires the Chilkat ActiveX component). User must run W:\LastCall\chilkatax-9.5.0-win32.msi once before running LastCall.
The "FTP File" column now indicates which server the SITEID.ZIP file is on. Previously, it indicated "Z" when there was a file on the FTP server, it now indicates "F" for FTP server, "S" for SFTP server, or "B" if on both servers and it can't be determined which server the site is using.
The actual server that each site last sent data to is taken into account. For example, if you use Site Zip Copier to send a file to both servers, but a site uses the SFTP server, it will indicate "S". Once the site retrieves the zip file and deletes it from the SFTP server, the "FTP File" column will be blank, even though there is a corresponding zip file on the FTP server.
If LastCall doesn't yet know what server a particular site last sent data to, it will indicate a "?" after the server designation such as "F?".
The "last server used" feature relies on FTPBridge ver 1.1.0 (or later), which creates the file (W:\ServerUsedBySite.csv) containing a list of all sites and which server (FTP or SFTP) each site last sent data to.
The right-click menu item "Download file from server" now works for SFTP servers also. If the "FTP File" column is "B?" you'll be prompted to select the server to download the zip file from.
The "Offline sites", "Unknown zip files", "Missing sites" buttons now show the info in a scrollable window instead of a simple MsgBox that may not fit all the data.
The "Unknown zip files" button now allows you to double-click a zip file to open it.
The "Show files in \fromsite" button now shows a scrollable list of files in the fromsite folder of both servers, separated by server.
The "Missing sites" button no longer shows tech "sites" (sites with the tech prefix of "77") nor sites in the "[IGNORED]" section of sites.txt.
Fixed bug: the number of sites indicated in the "Offline sites" button doubled each time one of the state filtering checkboxes was clicked.

Released beta software: Site Zip Copier 2.0.3:
Show the installed Chilkcat SFTP version in the Options.
When clicking "Create zip file(s) for sites", send the selected files(s) to the server used by each site instead of blindly sending the file to both the FTP and SFTP servers. This uses W:\ServerUsedBySite.csv created by the FTP Bridge program.
If the server used by a site is unknown, then the zip file will be sent to both servers as before.

Fixed bug: a run-time error 5 occurred if the filename to send contained a "*" or "?" character.

10/17/17: Show the installed Chilkcat SFTP version in the Options.
Removed white space in Options to make window shorter.

10/16/17: Released FTP Bridge 1.1.0. Save a file (W:\ServerUsedBySite.csv) containing a list of all sites and which server (FTP or SFTP) each site last sent data to. LastCall will use this for its "FTP File" column.

10/11/17: Released beta software: WinRVM 4.0.4:
Support spaces in Windows Dial-up connection names.
Various improvements when sending data to an SFTP server.
The progress bar and transfer rate in the file transfer window now work for SFTP servers.

10/6/17: Released beta software: ePort 2.0.6:
- The "container size" field in the "UPC Additions" feature defaults to "Select size" instead of 8oz, forcing the user to select the size (some people are lazy and simply left the default 8oz size for many containers).
If you don't select a size, an error message will display:
"Please enter the container size!"

- Added option to send a daily summary email of the UPC additions instead of sending an email after every session of entering new barcodes.
Added new ePort.cfg setting:

UPCAdditions::UPCAddEmailSendTime string : 03:00  # Time of day (HH:MM) to send pending UPC additions emails or 'now' to send email immediately after entering a new barcode

If this setting is missing, the default value is 02:00.
If the tablet is turned off or not on the home screen during the time defined by UPCAddEmailSendTime, the summary email will be sent within 24 hours of the initial UPC addition.

10/2/17: Updated beta software: WinRVM 4.0.3. Updated the WinRVM setup program to exclude the file comctl32.dll, as this prevented the installer from completing on some PCs.

9/28/17: Released FTP Bridge 1.0.9: with some minor changes to hopefully fix an occasional problem of not being able to connect to the sftp server.
The "File check frequency" in the options now supports values up to 65 seconds (previously, the program crashed with "Run time error 6: overflow" if you used a number greater than 32).

9/18/17: Released FTP Bridge 1.0.8: When copying an incoming file to the server, if the file already exists on the server and we're unable to rename the zip file to a unique name, simply log this instead of showing a MsgBox(), as this prevents further files from being processed.

9/11/17

8/15/17: Released beta software: WinRVM 4.0.2.

5/23/17: Re-released software: WinRVM 4.0.1.

5/22/17:  Released LastCall 2.2.0:
Renamed the right-click menu item "Show complete event log for this site" to "Show complete event log for site(s)", as this feature now applies if multiple sites are selected. If a single site is selected, the file will be opened in a text editor as before, otherwise, it will simply indicate the number of log files saved and open the "saved" folder.

5/22/17: Fixed bug: created on 5/19: the "Show complete event log for this site" left the status dialog box open after unzipping a single site's event log.

5/2/17: Released Q File Signature Verifier 1.0.3:
Fixed problem: 3-way enhanced capacity glass RVM Q files would fail verification.

4/19/17: Released beta software: ePort 2.0.4:
Added full Unicode support:
- The UPC Additions feature allows Unicode input for the description and distributor.
- The Request Service features allows Unicode input when "Other: type in a description of the problem" is selected.
- User passwords
- Sending emails (previously failed to send if any unicode characters were in the body)
Fixed bug: when scanning a barcode in the UPC additions and the barcode wasn't in the RVM, the description was not being retrieved from ePortMasterUPCdb.csv due to a file read error.
Now properly handle ePortMasterUPCdb.csv if encoded in UTF-8 or ISO-8859-1 formats (UTF-8 is preferred).

4/3/17: Released beta software: Site Zip Copier 2.0.2:
Don't show a "site not found" warning when copying a zip file meant for a technician.

3/31/17:  Released LastCall 2.1.9:
Fixed bug: if you double-clicked a site to show all the times it had called in and one of the Q files for this site was deleted from the server since LastCall started, "Error in PopulateLilst: 53 - File not found for file: [filename]" was displayed. The subsequent "Show All" window might not show any times this site called in.

Released beta software: Pocket WinRVM 2.0.0.

3/27/17:  Released LastCall 2.1.8:
Updated the eDAS accounting server name from Aprodite to ENV-EDAS to correspond with yesterday’s network change. LastCall connects to a database on this server for the “Q file harvest” feature.
Added support for wildcard site matching in sites.txt which is useful to ignore RVMs in foreign markets via a single entry such as:
[IGNORED]
6*,Foreign RVMs,,,,1,,,Misc
Note: I already updated sites.txt to remove the individual 6xxxxx sites and replaced with the above entry.
Increased max number of supported sites from 5000 to 10000.
Fixed bug: if you clicked "All" in the "show filter" area, then deleted a location such as "OR" then restarted the program, every option in the "show filter" area would be re-enabled.
Fixed bug: if unable to connect to the eDAS server during harvesting Q files sites, abort immediately instead of showing a bunch of error messages requiring you to click OK for each.

3/28/17: Released Q File Signature Verifier 1.0.2:
After selecting a Q file from the "browse" button, automatically verify the file instead of waiting for user to press "Verify".
Output results to textbox instead of a MsgBox.
Added support for wildcards.
Added hints to the program that wildcards and running from the command line are supported.
Moved the "Verify" button up and right to make room for a larger textbox.
When done verifying multiple Q files via wildcard, show a summary of how many files passed/failed the check.
When done verifying multiple Q files via wildcard, the summary indicates how many Q files were missing the signature.

2/20/17: Released BarcodeConverter 1.2.3.
Warn if the CF1500's memory was possibly restored from a Q file. This is only detectable if using CF1500 RVM software 4/22/08 or later and when using WinRVM 1.8.7 or Pocket WinRVM 1.5.2 or later.
Log the name of the Q file that had an invalid line length.
Count number of invalid line length errors when run in batch mode.
Increased width of status area to fit filename.
Don't show MsgBox when run with command-line args.

2/8/17: Added new program to the Misc section: Q File Signature Verifier:
A Windows program which verifies the integrity of a Q file by using the security signature. It works on U48 and CF1500 Q files.
If run without a command line argument it shows a GUI allowing you to select a Q file for verification.
If run with a command line argument it verifies the Q filename supplied and returns and exit code of 0 = OK, 1 = verification failed.

2/3/17: Updated the Q file documentation to include the new data integrity signature.

1/25/17: Re-released beta software: Site Zip Copier 2.0.1:
Clicking a column header now sorts the pending file transfers by that column.
Bugfix: if uploading to a server fails, enable the "Resend failed files" button.

1/4/17: Released beta software: Site Zip Copier 2.0.1
While uploading files, show a running total of the number of files that failed to upload.
When done sending, if any files failed to send, show a "Resend failed files" button which will clear the pending list (except failed files) and resend these files.
Show MsgBox if no zip files found in the source folder.
Store the temp files to be uploaded in separate folders for each server in:
C:\temp\SZC0
C:\temp\SZC1
Delete the temp files on program start/exit.

1/3/17: Released beta software: Site Zip Copier 2.0.1
Increased SFTP upload speed slightly by eliminating unneeded change dir command.
When uploading or downloading a file, log source file and size.
When downloading a file, verify the file size received was as expected.
Give hint on startup to configure the zip and unzip programs to run off the hard drive instead of the network for maximum speed.

========== 2017 ==========

12/21/16: Released beta software: WinRVM 4.0.0 with support for SFTP servers.

Released beta software: Site Zip Copier 2.0.0 with SFTP support.
If you’re currently manually copying zip files containing RVM barcode files to the FTP or SFTP servers, I encourage you to use this program instead, as it’s easier and less error-prone than manually copying, and more importantly, it will ensure the file is sent to both the FTP and SFTP servers as we’ll be transitioning all RVMs to use the SFTP server (which is more secure).
New U48/Flex installations connect to our SFTP server for barcode updates, but some older U48s still use the FTP server.
All CF1500 installations connect to the FTP server, but I’ll be releasing a new version of WinRVM/Pocket WinRVM shortly that will default to using the SFTP server.
Once we start rolling out the new WinRVM version, if you manually copy CF1500 zip files to just the FTP server, the sites with the new WinRVM will not receive the updated barcode files!
If you don’t use this program, you’ll need to manually copy zip files to both servers.

10/25/16: Released beta software: ePort 2.0.3.

10/3/16: Released beta software: CF1500 (US printer).

9/26/16: Released beta software: WinRVM 3.7.6 to allow running with the RVM com port disabled in Unattended Mode to prevent logging lots of RVM communications error messages.

9/11/16

8/30/16: Released beta software: CF1500 RVM for Greece to fix bug in Greek, interactive, and distributor-report versions of RVM software from 5/22/13 - 8/29/16:
If used an old style can crusher, the RVM would fail for "crusher position sensor timeout" and the crusher position sensor diagnostic 38 would always show both sensors as unblocked.

8/19/16: Released beta software: CouponDesigner ver 2.0.5.

7/28/16: Released beta software: CouponDesigner ver 2.0.4 which adds support for the new "%+3" 26-digit ICA POS barcode format.

6/30/16: Updated the ePort documentation to reflect the 2.0.1 release.

6/29/16: Added info on how to remotely update the list of distributors to the ePort documentation.

6/14/16:  Released LastCall 2.1.7:
In the Options the minimum number of purge days was reduced from 60 to 45.
Show "Purging files older than [x] days..." during the purge process so it doesn't look like the program is hung if deleting thousands of files.

6/13/16:  Released LastCall 2.1.6: Split the "MI" group into 2 groups:
MI CRB
MI FB

This affects:
1. The on-screen location filtering
2. New MI sites need to be added to the appropriate group:
[MI CRB]
[MI FB]

6/1/16:  Released LastCall 2.1.5:
Bugfix: The “FTP File” column could indicate no file was on the server for a site if location filtering was used and the site data was refreshed, then a different location filter was applied.

5/31/16:  Released PSD Checker 1.0.3: sort the output file with the highest counts first.

4/15/16: Released beta test software: RVM Status ver 1.1.6 which adds support for 2-digit modem COM port numbers.

4/11/16: Released beta software: CouponDesigner ver 2.0.3 which adds support for the new "%+2" 18-digit receipt validator barcode format.

4/5/16: Released LastCall 2.1.4:
Bugfix: the "days missing" column could be wrong if the number of Q files in the zip file was more than expected. For example, if a site previously had 10 RVMs but now there are only 6, the days missing column would indicate how many days exactly 6 RVMs had called in, which would be too high if the site had only called in 5 RVMs for every day since the site had 6 RVMs.

Released LastCall 2.0.6:
Renamed the "iPAQ/netbook" column to "Site type" as it now also supports "U48".
Added the preliminary ability to call U48 sites to get RVM status and perform various actions, similar to the way the RVMStatus program works for CF1500s. The U48 version of this program is named “Ultra Support”.
Renamed the right-click menu item "Call site with RVMStatus" to "Call site". Depending on the “site type” column, either the RVMStatus or Ultra Support program will be launched to call the site.  Added an "Ultra Support folder" setting in the options which defines the location of the Ultra Support program, which defaults to W:\UltraSupport.
Fixed bug: if a site hadn't called in for more than 24 hours and the last time it called in all its’ Q files, the "days missing" column would be blank instead of indicating the number of days since it called in.
Fixed bug: if a site had never called in all Q files at once, the "days missing" column was blank. It now indicates the number of days since the first time the site ever called in.
Fixed bug: if a site had never called in all its’ Q files, the "days missing" column was blank. It now indicates the number of days since the first time the site ever called in.
Fixed bug: if the file received in the last call contained no Q files but all Q files had been called in within the last 24 hours, the site would erroneously be listed in the report as missing Q files from all RVMs and the number of days missing in the report would be blank.

2/27/14: Released VoucherMaker 1.0.4: fixed a "run time error 76" if the output folder didn't exist.

The CF1500 file name will be slightly modified (second in filename changed) to not conflict with the existing U48 zip file instead of overwriting it. This behavior already existed when a U48 called in a zip file that matched an existing CF zip file but not the other way around. The file ErrorDefs.cfg now determines which U48 errors need to be reported to dispatch. Only errors that have an "Action" of "call" or "mail" will be reported.

Added the following settings to the Options:
"Unzip Program" which defaults to W:\SiteZipCopier\7za.exe
"Unzip command line" which defaults to " e -y"
"Zip Program" which defaults to W:\SiteZipCopier\7za.exe
"Zip command line" which defaults to " a"

6/25/13: Released LastCall 2.0.0:
Added support for 64-bit versions of Windows to fix the following error when attempting to harvest Q files: “The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running.". This error occurred due to an incompatibility issue with the unzip program (Infozip). LastCall now uses the 7-zip program to unzip files which is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit bit versions of Windows.
Added "Unzip Program" to the Options to define the name of the unzip program which defaults to W:\LastCall\7za.exe.
Added "Unzip command line" to the Options which defaults to " e -y".
Note: you can double the Q file harvesting speed by using the 7-zip program on your hard disk instead of the version on the network. Copy W:\LastCall\7za.exe to “C:\Program Files” then point to this file in the options under 'Unzip Program'. Call me if you need help with this.
Fixed problem when run under Windows 7: the right edge of the main window was cut off which obscured the "I" in the "MI" checkbox.
Fixed bug: the "missing today" report didn't always list sites that were missing Q files.
Added support for the upcoming U48 site controllers which have two major differences compared to CF1500 site controllers (as far as LastCall is concerned):
1. The zip files that arrive on the FTP server are named differently than CF1500 site controller files to avoid possible naming conflicts; the files have a “_U” appended to the base filename just prior to the “.ZIP” extension such as 100601_06-23-13_023213_U.ZIP. The Bridge program copies these U48 zip files to W:, when LastCall refreshes the list, it will rename these U48 zip files to the CF1500 naming convention such as 100601_06-23-13_023213.ZIP. LastCall will handle naming conflicts if a single site has both CF1500 and U48 RVMs that send data at the exact same second and will rename the U48 file to be unique by adding or subtracting a second in the filename.
2. The Q files inside the zip files are named Qnnnnnn.dqf instead of Qnnnnnn.
All features of LastCall should work properly with the U48 zip files.

6/24/13: Now display the following warning when trying to harvest Q files if the unzip program is located on the network:
Note: you can double the harvesting speed by using the unzip program on your hard disk instead of the version on the network!
This can be changed in the LastCall options under 'Unzip Program'.

The email subject now indicates the supervisor's initials such as:
"[RM] WinRVM sites that haven't called in 04/06/11"
The title of the emailed report now indicates the supervisor such as:
"WinRVM sites for supervisor NM that haven't called in the last 24 hours (as of 4/6/2011 8:58:43 AM)"
Eliminated the email field in the options as this is no longer used.
The file w:\lastcall\sites.txt defines the supervisor email addresses. Multiple email addresses may be specified per supervisor if separated by “;”.

No email is sent to OR by default.
Sample sites.txt excerpt:
;-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
;List of supervisor's email addresses for emailing supervisor-specific reports
;separate multiple addresses with a ";"
;-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
SUPERVISOR EMAIL:NM=neilm@envipco.com
;SUPERVISOR EMAIL:OR=someone@somewhere.com

Updated LastCall to ver 1.5.2:
The "Show % of sites that called in within X hours" setting in the options now also defines how many hours must pass before including a site in the "missing today" report (default is 24 hours). Previously, the report indicated sites that haven't called in today (since midnight), but since some call-in times were changed prior to midnight, these sites were erroneously showing up as missing in the report.
If the last file called in doesn't contain Q files, now search for the previous file that does and update the “missing” and “days” columns appropriately as well as include these in the “WinRVM sites missing downloads” section of the printed report/emails.

If no zip files are found for a site defined in sites.txt, the site is now listed on the LastCall main window. The "Last call time" field will read "not in last 90 days" (or whatever the "Purge Day" setting in the options is set to). The "days missing" column will show 90.
When the Q file search feature doesn't find the serial number you searched for, the error message now indicates possible reasons why:
"Perhaps this is a new RVM that hasn't been entered into eDAS"
or the RVM serial number is programmed incorrect in the RVM."
Certain events are now logged to the new file "LastCall Log.txt" (in W:\LastCall) to provide additional info. Currently, only the Q file harvest feature uses this to indicate which site each Q file was unzipped from. Added "Show debug log" button to the Options to display this log file.

This log file is saved in the "Logs" subfolder of the "Incoming zip file folder" specified in the Options such as W:\Logs.
Click the folder icon to open the log folder to view previously created logs from other sites.
You can use this feature instead of manually sending a command file such as (sendfile \my documents\cf1500\WinRVMlog Month nn.txt) to a site to retrieve the the monthly log file.

Added "Q File Search" button to the main screen. Clicking it will prompt you for an RVM serial number (5 or 6 digits):
The eDAS database is searched for the site ID where this RVM is located. The corresponding zip files on the Bridge Archive (W:\) for this site are then searched and then a list is presented indicating the times a Q file for this RVM.

If you select to harvest Stop & Shop Q files only, LastCall determines which sites are Stop & Shops by searching the eDAS database, not sites.txt.
While harvesting, added a "cancel" button and also show the percent complete next to the existing progress bar.
A warning is now written to the report if more Q files are found at a site than were expected.
The number of missing Q files are calculated differently to avoid showing a negative number if more Q files were found than expected.

Clicking this button will display a list of these files. If the file list is so long that it scrolls off your screen just hit Enter to close the window.
Note: LastCall ignores test zip files that begin with 999 and also zip files currently in progress that begin with "temp".
If the number of zip files gets large (over 10 or so), this could indicate a problem with AMANDA, specially if the files are more than a few minutes old as indicated by the filename.
1. Incoming zip files sent by WinRVM sites are saved in \fromsite of the FTP server.
2. Once a minute AMANDA moves the zip files to W:
3. At any one moment in time there may be several zip files in \fromsite of the FTP server that have yet to be moved to W:.
4. If something goes wrong with AMANDA then incoming zip files will accumulate in \fromsite of the FTP server and not be moved to W:. That is the purpose of this new button, to see if something is wrong with AMANDA.
Note: if the button indicates there are files in \fromsite and you click the button but it displays “No file(s) in \fromsite" this simply means that AMANDA came along and moved the files before you clicked the button.

5/2/06: Updated BatchFiles.zip. This version changes "Retrieve Pocket PC's Q Files.exe" on the laptop to also support a Compact Flash card on a Windows Mobile 5.0 device such as the new iPAQ 2190, as the CF Card is named "Storage card" on these units..
It is also more consistent with the way WinRVM's "File | Copy RVM data to CF card" feature works. Details:
Previously, the Q files would be copied from the SD card to the laptop, then compressed into the file QMMDDYY_HHMMSS.zip such as Q042806_130609.zip. The zip files would then be copied from the SD card to the laptop, the 200L zip files would be renamed with a timestamp, then the zip files would be copied as-is to c:\bb and then copied back to the SD card (in \bb\backup).
Now, the Q files and zip files are copied from the SD card to the laptop. The 200L zip files are still renamed with a timestamp. All Q and zip files are then compressed together into one giant zip file (QMMDDYY_HHMMSS.zip format) in c:\bb. This giant zip file is then copied back to the SD card (in \bb\backup). Ultimately, this prevents a bunch of individual store zip files from accumulating in \SD card\bb\backup.
I also changed the compression program from Info-zip (zip.exe) to 7-zip (7z.exe) due to a bug I found in zip.exe, where it sometimes wouldn't recognize files from "iPAQ File Store".

4/21/06: Updated LastCall to ver 1.1.4: When printing a report, the data is now printed in two columns.
Added icons to the buttons. Added a help button which points to the LastCall page on the web site.
Now display "Files read: n" when getting the directory listing to show the progress.
Buttons on the main screen are now disabled at the appropriate times.
Added an "Options" button which displays a new window containing all the program options.
Added "Purge files older than X days" option which defaults to 90. The program makes sure this setting is at least 60. Set to 0 to disable this feature. Note: it uses the date embedded in the filename. If the date is older than 12/31/05 the file won't be deleted as files older than this indicates WinRVM's clock must be incorrectly set.
Added "Indicate which sites haven't picked up their zip file from the FTP server's tosite folder" to the Options along with FTP server options. This feature is disabled by default. If enabled, an "FTP file?" column will be displayed. A "Z" indicates a zip file that matches that site's site ID exists on the FTP server's tosite folder.
Added "Show printer window before printing" to the options which allows you to set the number of copies or print to a different printer.

4/19/06: Released Site Zip Copier 1.0.1. Added "Select sites from list" and "Hide options" buttons.

4/10/06: Updated BatchFiles.zip to fix a problem. Running "Retrieve Pocket PC's Q Files.exe" would display "failed to open \SD card\bb\backup\filename.zip using windows ce protocol" error message when a 200L zip file is copied back to the pocket pc. This occurs because the compress feature in PCMOD (for 200Ls) doesn't name the zip file with a unique timestamp. After the 200L zip files are copied to the PC they are now renamed with a unique timestamp before being copied into c:\bb and to the pocket PC's backup folder.  For example, walmart.zip is renamed to walmart_041006_160228.zip. RQF.BAT and RQF2.BAT were updated, added a new program named "RenameZipFiles.exe".

4/7/06: Updated LastCall to ver 1.1.3: fixed bug: if you double-click a site to show all the times it called in, then leave the program running for a while with this window showing long enough for the program to refresh the main list, double-clicking a file would display a "file not found" message.

4/6/06: Updated BatchFiles.zip so that pkzip.exe is copied to the pocket PC (my documents\bb) to avoid a "bad command or file name" error when using PCMOD's option 17 (compress Q files) after setting up a new pocket PC.

4/5/06: Released beta test software: WinRVM ver 1.5.2.

3/14/06: Released beta test software: pocket WinRVM ver 1.2.1.

This calls a batch file based on the site id such as 280606.bat in the folder specified by the new "MUSTATUS folder" field (defaults to c:\mustatus). For this to work you must have the MUSTATUS program installed on your PC as well as the siteid batch files.

Nothing to do! (filename.zip)
Error, zip file not created!

The Q files would be transferred to c:\bb, but the zip file would not be created.

Refillable glass barcodes are no longer included in the output cf1500 barcodes files.
To configure an RVM to accept all glass commodities into a single bin in the main cabinet, use a silos table such as:
SILO01=112,0 ;silo 1 = clear+green+brown glass, full level for left bin (0=use binfull sensor)

========== 2005 ==========

12/9/04: Released software: WinRVM ver 1.3.4

12/3/04: The pocket pc version of PCMOD has completed testing and is ready for field use.

Changed CRC.exe as follows:
All non-refillable glass barcodes now have attributes 0,0,4,0 which is clear glass (4).
All refillable glass barcodes now have attributes 0,0,6,8 which is brown glass (6) and softdrop (8). Note: the softdrop bit is not actually used in this case as we'll simply sort by color, I just added it for possible future use.
Use SILOS.GSS (added to CF1500 installation disk) to configure clear glass (non-refillable) to the main cabinet, brown glass (refillable ) to the side cabinet.
SILOS.GSS looks like this:
SILO01=16,0 ;silo 1 (left) = clear glass (non-refillable), full level for left bin (0=use binfull sensor)
SILO03=64,0 ;silo 3 (side cabinet)=brown glass (refillable), full level for side cabinet (0=use binfull sensor)

11/29/04: Created a DOS program called CRC.exe to create individual can/glass/pet CF1500 barcode tables from the CRC-formatted barcode table containing all three commodities. Required ssort.exe to be placed into the same folder as crc.exe. The CRC program sanity checks the input file and the three output files are sorted. On 12/1/04 updated CRC.exe to write terminating "FFFFFFFFFF,0,0,9,0" at end of each output table.

usage: CRC infile outfile

where infile = input CRC-formatted barcode file
outfile = 6-digit store ID for output files
(outfileA.tbl, outfileG.tbl, outfileP.tbl will be created)

example: CRC 56650.txt 123456

Program output:

Number of barcodes written:5090
1545 can => 123456A.tbl
1349 glass => 123456G.tbl
2196 PET => 123456P.tbl

Anyone using an RVM version between 3/28/02 - 9/3/02 should immediately:
    1. Disable the can-crush anti-cheat feature (set the CRUSHTIME_MIN parameter to 0). Click here for instructions.
    2. Or load a previous version of RVM software such as the 3/4/02 version.

A new version of RVM software will be released shortly to fix this bug.
Details: the bug disabled the "timed drop" feature where the RVM waits for the can flattener to be in the correct position before dropping the can into the flattener. Cans were instantly dropped into the flattener, no matter what position it was in. This causes the can to sometimes bounce around a while before being crushed. Because of this delay, certain cans would not be paid for because the flattener didn't crush the can within the allotted 2 1/2 seconds (CRUSHDETECTIM parameter).

Note: the 3/4/02 version is now on the cf1500 installation disk.

When sending barcodes to the RVM, the RVM might incorrectly sort the barcode if it encountered a barcode with a large value such as 933333333 in the RVM. This could cause the RVM to reject certain barcodes even though the barcode was in the table. The only way to fix this problem was to load a newer version of RVM software (this version or later), delete and then reload the barcode table.
The "binary barcode" transmission feature of previous CF1500 RVM versions should not be used with the binary barcode feature enabled in the Site Controller/PCRVM/WinRVM.

Created hyperlink to the Envipco web site in the Help | About dialog box. Eliminated the "continue" button after invoking the image editor (CouponDesigner now waits for the image editor to close before continuing, which is much faster than before). Eliminated the ConvertDelay feature. Added keyboard shortcuts for all dialog boxes.

4/5/01: Updated the CouponDesigner program: Added "save image as pcx/bmp" to right-click menu when right-clicking on an image. Deleting a text object now clears the text entry field. The file size is now displayed next to the file name. When saving a file, a warning is now displayed if the size of the file is too large as defined by a new parameter in the options form (default size is 15000).
